I was really excited when asked to participate again on the 'On Time' supplement for Vanity Fair. Creatively directed by Karen Hibbert with exacting photographs by James Day, it was a real pleasure. The truly amazing book sculptures were done by Robert Battams who is also exhibiting some of his work as part of the 2011 Jerwood Drawing Prize.

JN productions 10th Birthday party design
JN productions have just moved into some really stunning new offices in Cowper St. EC2. To celebrate this and the fact that James has been running his business for 10 years they threw a party and asked me to add a few touches to it. Assisted by Johanna Roberts.
Weetabix pitch , Saatchi & Saatchi
I was asked by Kate Mahon at Saatchi & Saatchi to do a small installation in their window for a Weetabix pitch. It was a really fun job with lots of humour. We hung speach bubbles with quotes from the members of staff at Saatchi sharing their memories and experiences of eating Weetabix! Assisted by Ruth Ley and Rachel Quinn. Have a look ...

Vanity Fair 'On Time' Front cover sculpture and prop styling
Really pleased with this job done with Vanity Fair's Karen Hibbert and photography by James Day.
Apart from being a good laugh and lots of work to really get my imagination flowing the job was brilliant and very rewarding. I designed and made the sculpture based on the internal workings of a clock. Made from brass, copper and stainless steel. Karen's Art Direction was supreme and James is an amazing photographer. Also like to say thank you to Ruth Ley for her hard work and assistance. So here are the pictures....

Vanity Fair Cover
Really excited as the new Vanity fair 'On time' Front cover and story is now out. It's a sculptural design of the workings of a clock that I designed and made and prop styling of really interesting craft based antiques and tools in amongst the amazing watches inside. Photography was fantastically shot by James Day - uber modern and slick. I am especially pleased too as I was asked for a contributors page photo ... so my 13 year old nephew took one .. which was lovely .. and he has been credited too!! Well done Fionn ... he's one to watch out for.
Will post pictures soon!

Dizzee Rascal for Esquire
Rick Guest asked me this time to do a shoot for Esquire with Dizzee Rascal. It was a a lot of fun, a real experience and great to meet Dizzee who was great to work with. Rick's ideas for the Bridget Riley set and array of quirky props were just right. The photos turned out very strong. Thank you to Ruth Ley, Alice Oakhill and Rachel Quinn for working so hard on the set build it was an all girl event!
You can see the making of video on the Esquire website.
