Harrods magazine - With Rick Guest

Rick asked me to get some more geometric sets together for Harrods magazine. This is just a little snippit of what we did. Out next March.

Chris Turner and I got all winter wonderland with this front cover for the November Vogue supplement, baubles fake snow and all.

Telegraph Luxury Magazine

It was great to be asked by Tom Brown to do some sets for the new Telegraph Luxury Magazine in the autumn. 

Got some quirky bits to add as props, I love these old mathematical devices. We got invited to the opening party too at the Serpentine which was really good fun. I had a chance to look around the new Gallery too all designed by (Zaha Hadid), great space .. very impressive.

Wow what a year .. it's been so busy so haven't blogged for ages. But here's a bit of a catch up. A few pictures from the setting up of the exhibition, it was really amazing and the private view very fun. I was very touched that so many people made it down... a good party was had during and after the show! I do like a party :)

'Toot Suite' New Orleans Evening At the Russian Club

The lovely Emma Edwards from The Decedant Dining Society has asked me to collaborate on one of her fantastic pop up restaurant evenings. “Toot Suite”, will be taking place on Friday 9th August at 8pm at The Russian Club studios.

The inspiration for the evening are the musicians of New Orleans!!

  

Also on this special night, we are equally excited to have the ridiculously talented trumpeter Jay Phelps on board who will be playing some jazz classics throughout the night. Not to be missed!

Sculpture workshop at the Cock & Bull Festival

Ania Wawrzkowicz and I will be leading a workshop at the Cock & Bull Festival to make abstract sculptures inspired by Vorticism from everyday objects and recycled materials. The sculptures will be photographed and some will be included in our exhibition at the London Design Festival.

If you haven't heard about it the Cock & Bull Festival it's an event run to help fund Jamie's farm. The charity exists to transform the lives of vulnerable children in challenging urban schools. The farm provides a unique combination of farming, family and therapy, through a short residential stay and follow up programme. A truly inspiring project that changes lives.

Roland Mouret short film

I was recently asked by director Lee Ford to art direct a short film commissioned by Instyle magazine for fashion designer Roland Mouret. It was intriguingly avant guard with a sinister flavour. Here are a few images of the locations which were brilliant to work with.

Beach sculptures

I have to say I have a very big soft spot for surfing and getting thrown about in the sea as often as I can, preferably somewhere hot .. lucky me!! Here are some beach sculptures for you to look at - they are inspirations and works in progress for some of my future projects.

James Noel Birthday party

Thank you James Noel from JN for inviting me to design your 40th Birthday party. I have worked with James for over 10 years and feel privileged to have been involved in this event. My job is exciting and always interesting, but the parties are always extra added fun! James, you sure know how to party and put on such an amazing spread with Healthy Yummies doing the exquisite food. Those yummies know how to look so glam when working hard too. Jodie the fabulous producer made it all happen seamlessly. What a night !
